1.Responsible at CES to Executive Director and Director of Ancillary Services.

2.Responsible when in the District to Superintendent or their designee.

3.Responsible for no one.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

1.Ed.D or Ph.D.

2.Two years experience in school setting.

 

LICENSURE

 

1.Licensure by Public Education Department.

2.Licensure by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Board.

3.Able to obtain Medicaid Provider Number and NPI.

 

SALARY

 

1.Commensurate with ability, experience, education, and similar positions in member school districts.

2.Certified school year position with benefits identified in Policy Manual.

 

DUTIES, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.Administer psychological and educational tests and other assessments procedures.

2.Interpret assessment results.

3.Obtain, integrate, and interpret information about child behavior and conditions relating to learning.

4.Consult with other staff members in planning school programs to meet the special needs of children as indicated by psychological tests, interview, and behavioral evaluation.

5.Plan, manage, and implement a program of psychological services, including psychological counseling for children with disabilities and their parents.
