Reading Room – August 2023
Cursive Handwriting.
CES is implementing a new process that allows for purchase orders to be made to vendors rather than to CES. The reason for the Direct Purchase model is threefold; members can get their orders placed quicker, vendors can deliver and get paid quicker, and members can see what vendors they are using from their financial software and specific spend information. These issues came directly from CES members and vendors, and CES’ new Electronic Blue Book is the “lynch pin” to making all this work. We will train the vendors and members in the new CES Direct Purchase model as we begin this process change.
