March winds 💨 will be blowing in an assortment of valuable TAP presentations. Please note all presentations are complimentary. All seven presentations offered in March are half day sessions, if you miss part of an AM session, you are welcome to attend again in the PM due to sessions repeating in the AM & PM.
- Autism Toolbox will focus on “Supporting Social Skills targeting “Adolescents Focused Topics, Part 1 and Part 2”
- Social Emotional Learning (SEL) will have two presentations, “Strategies to Enhance Staff & Students Mental Health” and “ Student Engagement versus Compliance”
- Behavior topic for the month, “Students are Stressed & Angry: How to Avoid Conflicts & Power Struggles” will discuss strategies to prevent student and de-escalate conflicts
- More on developing and implementing “IEP Accommodations” which can be tricky
- Lastly, a new presentation on structured reading Instruction, “The Wonderful World of Words; Vocabulary Instruction Strategies”
