CES is the ONLY New Mexico-based Purchasing Cooperative, serving the state since 1979. CES serves New Mexico’s 89 school districts plus many other public education institutions, including charter schools, two and four-year post-secondary institutions, BIE schools and state schools. CES also serves cities, counties, municipalities, and qualifying non-profits.
The Direct Purchase model is threefold; members can get their orders placed quicker, vendors can deliver and get paid quicker, and members can see what vendors they are using from their financial software and specific spend information.
We save our participants significant amounts of time and money by soliciting bids and proposals on a state and national level and award contracts on their behalf.
Ancillary is the program by which public educational institutions and other member agencies can access the services of related service providers for their students.
